Words from Lizzie & Michael

Kirsty, you made my non-believer husband believe in doulas! Even though our birth took a big left turn & didn’t end the way we wanted, your support throughout labour was invaluable & we would hire you again in a heartbeat. Big big love

Words from Jess & Tom

I’ve had the incredible support of Kirsty for two of my births, my second, a home birth during the height of COVID with my daughter Edith, and my third, which ended in a hospital transfer with my son Angus. That first homebirth was the most magical experience of my life. Even though we were fighting the system at every turn, Kirsty gently guided and reassured me through it all. It was such a scary and isolating time, but together we made it through, and I’ll never forget the strength and calm she brought into that space.

For Angus’s birth, when things didn’t go to plan, Kirsty was always two steps ahead, holding space with such grace, advocating for what I needed, and getting things done for both me and my husband. She was steady and strong when we needed it most. Her support didn’t take away from my own power, it amplified it.

Words from Jordyn & Josh

Kirsty was such an amazing and grounding support throughout my pregnancy for not only myself but my partner as well. Being our first pregnancy, we felt so much more ready with Kirsty in our corner as someone to turn to for not only emotional support but with a wealth of knowledge of our options and answer any questions we had. She was such a warm and calming presence during my labour and gave me reassurance when I needed.

You know how you can instantly like someone and feel their positive energy before even knowing them? That’s how I felt about Kirsty.

I discovered her on instagram when I was living in QLD, and I felt so connected and aligned to her beliefs and values. When we moved to Darwin and I became pregnant with my second baby, I knew I had some healing to do from my first birth (which was 4 years earlier). So I reached out to Kirsty and had a birth debrief. I felt so seen, my experience was validated and Kirsty had the most kind, empathetic energy.

I then attended a birth trauma workshop and, once again, I felt so safe in her presence. I knew that I HAD to have her as my doula.

Throughout my pregnancy, Kirsty supported me physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Our time together was never rushed and it felt easy like catching up with a friend.

During my labour, she gave the most incredible hip squeezes, back rubs and held my hands and gave words of affirmation. I felt SO supported and capable because of her being there. I had the home birth I had been longing for, and I believe Kirsty played a HUGE part in helping me achieve that.

I’m forever thankful for her wisdom, belief in women and just everything she has to offer. I cannot speak highly enough and my wish is that every woman could experience her magic.

Words from Jasmin & Mick

Kirsty is a presence i never knew i needed, throughout the pregnancy and in the delivery room. Being there with just a grab on the hips or empowering words in the moments it matters most, holding space and never taking away from my families and partners role in the birth of my son. She was the extra bit of calm, support and power we all needed.

Words from Maddie & Justin

Kirsty was absolutely incredible. Her deep knowledge of birth and the physiological strength of women shone through in everything she did. The space she held felt deeply calm and free of pressure, allowing us to move through the experience without urgency. She supported both myself and my partner with genuine care, making sure we felt acknowledged and at ease. Kirsty instinctively knew what was needed in each moment, stepping in to advocate powerfully when asked, yet always remaining flexible and grounded as plans changed. Strong, calm, and fiercely committed. She is exactly the kind of presence every birth deserves!
